Virtual Assistant for Podcast

The work I would be doing can divided into main category -

1. Research
2. Podcast notes and review
3. Social media and Brainstorming
4. Miscellaneous

1. Research

In this I would be required to research any topic that is related to the guest or topic that is to be discussed in the podcast or any other project.

I have to go through all the notable work done by the Guest, go through their twitter or any other social media to know more about them. Research about the controversies or unpopular opinions about the guest. I have to do that being neutral about the person, I shouldn’t influence my research about that person based on my personal beliefs cause I have observed in your podcast that you are always neutral. You are not biassed towards any side.

I dig about the guest and come up with topics, ideas and questions which could result in wonderful conversation with the guest.

I also have to keep in mind all the questions that the listeners of Podcast may ask, their curiosity about that person or topic on which the conversation is taking place. All these things must be answered by the listeners of the podcast.

2. Podcast notes and review

I would need to listen to the podcast while having a notebook and pen in my hand trying to find some very interesting findings as a result of conversation or I may have to find some wrong facts that were quoted during the conversation so that they would be corrected later in some form.

I need to look for small interesting conversations that take place during the whole talk so that they can be later uploaded to youtube in the form of 5–15 min small conversation clips.

3. Social Media and Brainstorming

They are completely different task

Social Media

I would be required to go through the comment section or review section and look at something interesting stated by some wonderful individual around the podcast.

Or I would have to go through all the comments which point out the mistake we had made in that content.

I would have to go through your social media accounts and all their activities and interaction with other people. How a post is performing and idea shared is clear and understood as we have intended or not.

I would have to go through the thousands of mails you receive in a week to find something that is too interesting to ignore to your notice such as some guest might have approached you to work with you in both your research or podcast related.

4. Miscellaneous

These are the miscellaneous tasks which come in front of our eyes accidently and are too important to ignore so we have to tackle them at the moment leaving all the other tasks to pause.
